Job summary

Sinion Wholesale Electric Co., Inc. in Great Bend, KS is seeking a full-time delivery driver to pick up and deliver electrical products to vendors and customer sites within the territory.

You will operate and maintain delivery vehicles, follow routes, and ensure items are loaded and delivered safely. The role requires a post-offer DOT physical, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Qualifications

• Post-offer DOT physical required.
• Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds infrequently and 25 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, prepare, secure & protect contents of delivery vehicle.
• Follow assigned schedules and routes of deliveries.
• Inform supervisor of shortages, overages, and damaged merchandise and refer customer complaints to supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and warehouse in a neat, safe, and orderly condition and stocking of material; prepare orders for delivery.
• Serve as liaison to customer base with courteous and professional service; maintain a professional image.
• Provide backup to counter sales and shipping/receiving functions within the warehouse.

• Must be able to obtain forklift safety certificate once hired.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
