Job summary

AutoZone in New Mexico seeks a Delivery Driver to use company-provided vehicles to deliver auto parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and high-quality service.

You’ll work with store personnel, handle returns and pickups, follow PPE and fleet safety rules, and learn promotions and products. CDL is not required; bilingual Spanish and English is a plus, and growth opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing automotive advice and installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth teamwork and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and deliver parts to commercial customers; load and unload per route schedules.
• Handle returns, cores, and parts pickups from nearby stores or vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies for a safe driving environment.
• Process customer payments securely per company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems; report vehicle issues promptly.
