Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Springfield, OH is hiring a Van Delivery Driver to ensure courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries along a variable daily route. You will operate the van professionally and assist with store operations before or after routes.

Daily duties include locating and preparing orders, building customer relationships, and maintaining accurate deliveries. The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs; 18+ years

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Pass pre-employment checks including drug screen, criminal background check and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ensure timely deliveries of Gordon Food Service products.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment.
• Process customer purchases at the point of sale and secure assets.
• Receive and merchandise products with proper rotation and planogram execution.
