Position Overview

The DOT Driver Trainee will deliver products along assigned routes with multiple stops, maintaining delivery schedules. Responsibilities include maintaining records, vehicle logs, and cargo or billing documentation per regulations. Successful completion of training will lead to a Driver DOT position at Ben E. Keith Foods.

• Deliver products along designated routes with multiple stops
• Read customer invoices to gather and deliver items
• Assemble customer orders for delivery
• Adhere to delivery time windows
• Ensure accurate and damage-free deliveries
• Follow traffic laws and safety procedures
• Inspect and maintain vehicle condition
• Report mechanical issues, delays, or incidents
• Maintain proper documentation and logs

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• High School diploma or GED; one year of related experience preferred
