Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Trainee-DOT to learn all aspects of a Route Delivery Driver role. You’ll deliver, unload, and merchandise products to various accounts while adhering to company and DOT safety standards.

Undergoing training to obtain a Class A CDL, you will service Bulk, Small Format, On-Premise accounts, and Dollar General on a designated route, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class A preferred; ability to obtain permit if not held.
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT requirements.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle with CDL in compliance with safety rules.
• Unload products, stock shelves, and ensure correct display merchandising.
• Obtain signatures, store stamps, and invoices for end-of-day settlement.
• Communicate issues to store personnel and management; adhere to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

We’d love to receive your application and talk with you about your interest in the position if the overview below describes you.**Trainee-DOT Role Overview**The Trainee DOT is primarily responsible for learning all aspects of a Route Delivery Driver role, including the safe and efficient operation of the delivery vehicle.
