• Learn to perform delivery duties while maintaining a good safety record.
• Deliver to routes with multiple stops and varying difficulty.
• Read customer invoices to determine items to move, gather, distribute and deliver.
• Learn to use Xata onboard computer and handheld scanners.
• Follow DOT and FMCSA rules and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered products with no damage from mishandling.
• Obey traffic laws and transportation procedures.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and daily fluid checks.
• Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and Hours of Service Logs.
• Report delays, accidents or other transportation situations to management.
• Learn Defensive Driver Training.
