Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is offering a driver training program in Oklahoma City designed to develop individuals into DOT drivers. The program requires obtaining a CDLPermit within two months and promotes trainees to DOT Route Service Associate upon completion.

Participants will learn delivery on multi-stop routes, operate Xata onboard systems and handheld scanners, and follow DOT/FMCSR safety rules while maintaining accurate delivery records and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service mindset and strong communication skills.
• Excellent reading comprehension for invoices and documents.
• Good numerical ability and basic PC proficiency.
• High organization and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to DOT/FMCSR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform delivery duties with emphasis on safety and accuracy.
• Deliver product along assigned routes with multiple stops.
• Read customer invoices to determine items to move and deliver.
• Learn to use Xata onboard computer and handheld scanners.
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations and safety rules.
• Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and Hours of Service Logs.
• Report delays or incidents to transportation management.
• Complete safety inspections and report mechanical issues.
