Job Summary

Driver Helper will be responsible for delivering orders to customers on time and in good condition, maintaining professionalism, and using safe work methods to perform the job successfully while satisfying the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Unload and verify all returning products with the appropriate check-in personnel.
  • Pad, stack, and secure items to prevent damage during shipment.
  • Deliver and stack merchandise on customer premises.
  • May operate company non-commercial vehicle to deliver products as directed by the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Accurately count and deliver orders.
  • Assist Drivers with off-loading products to customers.
  • Lift up to 90 lbs. (average case weight is 50 lbs.).
  • Load and unload trucks using hands, hand truck, or dolly.
  • Deliver food and related items from trailer to specified locations.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Perform job safely and participate in safety initiatives.
  • Adhere to work schedule and attendance standards, and be punctual.
Qualifications

Commercial Driver’s License (must obtain within 90 days of start date to remain employed).

Education
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Experience
  • Two-wheel dolly experience.
  • Equipment operation experience.
Professional Skills
  • Ability to count money and keep track of merchandise.
Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs. and climb in and out of trucks throughout the day.
