Job summary

Wheel Pros in Riverside, MO, is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to help us get product to customers from our warehouse. The ideal candidate has warehouse exposure, a good driving record, and a self-motivated attitude to work safely and efficiently.

You will load, unload, and deliver orders with a box truck, inspect vehicle, follow safety rules, and collaborate with warehouse staff. Starting hourly pay range is $21-$23 USD; ability to pass DOT test required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Maintain a good driving record and be properly licensed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, no DUIs on record.
• Ability to pass DOT test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lb.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive company image when delivering directly to our customers.
• Load and unload orders, make deliveries, and return undelivered material to the warehouse.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and communicate concerns to manager.
• Be responsible for general care and maintenance of the vehicle.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites or sites of business while adhering to all safety procedures.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations, particularly driving a truck hazards.
• Check quantities of goods received and obtain proper signatures for deliveries.
• Assist warehouse personnel with warehouse duties, withdrawal of merchandise to fill orders, packaging and labeling, storing and shelving, and stock relocation as required.

Requirements:

• The ability to maintain a professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers or vendors
• Prior experience delivering merchandise to customers using a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Maintain a good driving record and be properly licensed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, no DUIs on motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass DOT test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75lb

Starting Hourly Pay Range:

$21 - $23 USD
