Job summary

Wheel Pros is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to help us get our product out the door and to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, a good driving record, the ability to work well with others, and a self-motivated mentality.

Qualifications

• Experienced delivering merchandise using box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Maintain a good driving record and be properly licensed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, no DUIs on record.
• Ability to pass DOT test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lb.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive company image when delivering directly to our customers.
• Load and unload orders, make deliveries, and return undelivered material to the warehouse.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and communicate concerns to manager; maintain vehicle care.
• Make deliveries to customer sites while adhering to safety procedures.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations related to trucking.
• Check quantities of goods received and obtain proper signatures for deliveries.
• Assist warehouse personnel with duties such as packing, labeling, and stocking as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Project a positive company image when delivering directly to our customers.
• Load and unload orders, make deliveries, and return undelivered material to the warehouse.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and communicates concerns to manager. Be responsible for general care and maintenance of the vehicle.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites or sites of business while adhering to all safety procedures.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations, particularly the hazards encountered with driving a truck.
• Check quantities of goods received and obtain proper signatures for deliveries.
• Assist warehouse personnel with the following, but not limited to: warehouse housekeeping duties, withdrawal of merchandise to fill orders, packaging and labeling of orders, storing and shelving of merchandise, relocation and/or rearrangement of stock as required.

Requirements:

• The ability to maintain a professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers or vendors
• Prior experience delivering merchandise to customers using a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Maintain a good driving record and be properly licensed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, no DUIs on motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass DOT test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75lb

Starting Hourly Pay Range: $21 – $23 USD
