Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000
Must reside on Martha's Vineyard

Position Summary:
This position will require monitoring all drivers on Martha's Vineyard and assisting where needed. It is important to ensure that all drivers return to the Steam Ship dock in time to make reservations and meet delivery windows, get invoices signed, scan above 90%, and communicate any issues to dispatch while following SOPs and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of Martha's Vineyard driver personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all USDOT requirements and other regulatory bodies.
• Train Martha's Vineyard drivers to follow all transportation SOPs.
• Maintain fuel levels and communicate any truck issues.
• Ensure that vehicles are clean and meet maintenance standards.
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints.
• Evaluate employee performance on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure drivers are logged into Samsara and complete pre and post trips.
• Maintain a relationship with taxi service for one of our routes.
• Drive routes as needed to fulfill delivery obligations.
• Conduct weekly meetings to inform staff of new procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Purchasing, and Sales personnel.

About you:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Experience driving and parking large vehicles.
• Able to lift 25 pounds.
• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.
• Professional with a pleasant disposition.
• Dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
