Job Overview

Looking to join a team where you are valued and your hard work is appreciated? Tire Factory/Point S Tire and Auto have an immediate Driver position available in the Seattle, Washington metro area.

Starting pay: $23.00 per hour. Eligible for a $500 new hire bonus. After 90 days you can earn an additional $200 per month incentive bonus.

Full‑time employment.

Location: Seattle, Washington Metro Area.

Primary Job Function

• Ensure the vehicle is fit for the road by performing and recording routine checks of lights, tires, oil, water, etc., and reporting any defects to maintain safety.
• Ensure the vehicle is loaded safely for optimum efficiency and safety.
• Drive in accordance with Highway Code regulations, take responsibility for the vehicle, its security, and completion of paperwork to provide a safe and efficient service.
• Maintain a clean vehicle both inside and out.
• Deliver all orders in a timely manner and in full, recording any delivery exceptions.
• Provide top‑notch customer service, remembering that a delivery driver is the last face a customer sees and reflects Tire Factory/Point S.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of delivery driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and comfortable doing manual labor.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Required to operate company vehicles.
• Lift/carry freight weighing up to 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Push/pull products of excessive weight.
• Work both independently and in a team environment.
• Meet or exceed applicable efficiency standards and expectations.
• Drive for long periods of time.
• Work in extreme weather conditions (heat or cold).

Schedule

• Day shift.
• Work week: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed. Hours vary.
• Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the distribution center supervisor/manager.
• May be required to travel to Portland for meetings/events. Time, travel, expenses covered by company.
