Job summary

World Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Driver to operate a 24' state body truck, transport materials to customers, and maintain truck safety and cleanliness. You will interact with sales staff to meet customer needs and ensure timely deliveries across our Florida-based routes.

The role demands physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, adherence to safety procedures, and flexibility in job duties. A high school diploma and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages up to 75 lbs.
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.
• Must be flexible and mobile in body movements.
• Strong math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner, following all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicate with sales associates or manager to meet customer needs.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates.
• Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance.
• Load and unload trucks with equipment.
• Construct pallets based on delivery area to prevent stock damage on delivery.
• Participate in safety programs and wear PPE as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
