Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an on-site driver and logistics teammate based at the Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN. The role involves loading, transporting, and delivering supplies across IU Health facilities with a Box truck, on a rotating schedule with base hours 9:00 am–5:30 pm.

You will inspect vehicles, log deliveries, use a Warehouse Management System and ERP software for counts and shipments, and assist with route optimization.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Indiana driver's license with no infractions in last 3 years.
• Must obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 2 weeks of hire date.
• 2-5 years of related experience is required.
• Requires experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Requires the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
• Requires long periods of standing.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver/unload IU Health supplies and equipment to facilities.
• Perform same-day routes and deliveries with a Box truck.
• Ensure trucks are prepared for departure and delivered on time.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns prior to departure.
• Maintain delivery logs and use WMS/ERP for cycle counts and shipping.
• Prepare bill of lading and report safety concerns promptly.
• Train team members on routes and safety checks and coordinate maintenance schedules.
