Job summary

5th Axis in San Diego, CA is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to transport materials and products safely, accurately, and on schedule. You’ll verify orders, maintain delivery records, inspect vehicles, and coordinate with internal teams on status and priorities.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, using GPS for routes, and assisting with warehouse tasks as needed. Forklift experience or training is a plus, with a strong emphasis on safe driving and customer service.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience delivering, route-driving, transportation, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Forklift experience or current forklift certification is beneficial.
• Experience loading, securing, transporting, and unloading materials.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, unload, and deliver materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Complete assigned delivery routes according to schedules and priorities.
• Verify orders, quantities, packing slips, and related documentation.
• Operate forklifts or other approved equipment to load/unload materials when required.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, and other departments to adapt to changing priorities.
