Five Star Breaktime Solutions is hiring a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across GA Ringgold and TN Signal Mountain. Youll stock, rotate, and promote products, engage with customers, and ensure accurate cash handling at kiosks.

The role requires a valid license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety and reliability while delivering excellent service and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and handle route physically.
• DOT 21+ age requirement.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and promotions; restock shelves and inventory.
• Load/unload products and deliver using company vehicle; maintain safety.
• Greet clients, answer questions and upsell where appropriate.
• Collect money from kiosks and follow cash-handling protocols; record transactions.
• Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of perishable items; monitor temperatures.
• Complete full inventory counts per company protocol; report discrepancies.
• Monitor product shelf life and report spoilage; communicate product changes to management.

We are seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to represent Five Star across client locations by ensuring vending machines and micro-markets are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing. Key Responsibilities

Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs. Roll-out promotions. Gather and report customer feedback. Maintain established inventory levels for all products sold, to include , but not limited to soft drinks, pre-packaged food, sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps, fruits, vegetables, candy, pastry, and snack items. Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee. Follow inventory-tracking and product-rotation protocols. Collect and record out-of-date, rejected, or unsold merchandise. Monitors the shelf life of products to minimize spoilage losses.

Review inventory requirements to identify what products are needed for each point of sale. Works closely with the warehouse to ensure all products are ready for delivery. Load and unload products in accordance with proper safety protocols to prevent injury. Drive the company vehicle to deliver merchandise. Maintain open lines of communication with management regarding account product changes and recommend scheduling changes.

Collect money from kiosks. Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention protocols to ensure personal and property safety. Record transactions on appropriate forms and/or handheld device . Monitor and report any activity that seems out of the norm or raises specific concern about potential misconduct.

Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of all perishable items during transit and while stocking products. Ensure coolers maintain appropriate temperatures for product storage. Perform routine cleaning, including, but not limited to, coffee machines, microwaves, coolers, racks, shelves, tables, countertops, floors, and windows, at each point of sale.

Greet clients and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Communicate effectively with customers to address questions or concerns. Provide product and solution suggestions as needed. Provide Feedback and suggestions to improve route efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Full inventory counts must be completed and submitted as designated by company protocol.

Inspect food quality & appearance; report stale products, review "pick" sheets, conduct final walk-through.
