Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group LLC is seeking a Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver for Richmond, VA distribution. You will safely deliver fresh floral products on assigned routes, ensuring on-time delivery and high product quality while providing courteous customer service.

The role requires operating a 16-foot refrigerated truck, loading/unloading, and adherence to DOT regulations. Local Virginia travel is required; start early and maintain vehicle readiness in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of professional driving experience operating box trucks (16 ft or larger preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required).
• Acceptable driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively use maps, GPS, and navigation tools for route management.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products to customers across assigned routes. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and delivering a positive customer experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) and to lift, carry, and move products up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. The position also requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing in and out of a truck, and extended driving periods.

Compensation & Benefits (What’s in it for you)

The expected hourly rate for this position is listed above. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Please note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

Other Information

• Onsite role based out of the Richmond, VA distribution facility
• Part-time, as-needed schedule with variable hours based on business needs; flexibility required
• Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional Saturdays required
• Start time: Monday at 3:00 AM; Tuesday–Friday at 3:30 AM, until route completion
• Local travel required throughout Virginia delivery areas, including Norfolk, Williamsburg, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Richmond, Suffolk, and Lynchburg
