Qualifications

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $33.06 and $34.17.

As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation, incentives (e.g., based on cases, mileage, stops).

Schedule:

Monday – Friday typically

Some travel required to other domicile locations and possible two-day runs.

The starting pay is $33.06 per hour!

Main Responsibilities of the Job

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Unload products carefully from the trailer using appropriate equipment and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform customer service responsibilities professionally to enhance client experience
  • Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repeatedly during each shift
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift)

What You Bring to the Role

  • Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food/beverage delivery
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
  • Proficiency in English for communication, understanding traffic signs, and record-keeping
