Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Services & Delivery team member to ensure prompt delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. The role involves preparing doses for shipment, loading containers, and using a handheld tablet for order accuracy and navigation.

The position works 40 hours per week with weekend shifts and rotation. It offers a $1,000 new hire sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, education assistance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a valid driver7s license.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• Sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• On-call/holidays rotation availability.
• Proficient with computers and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and make deliveries to customer accounts on the assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles in proper condition and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Schedule will include weekends: Saturday and Sunday 4:30am-12:30pm and working 3 days during the week Monday-Friday with start-time varying between 3am-9am.
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• May require vendor credentialing
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation
• Ability to use computers and tablets
