Job summary

Cardinal Health in the United States is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. You will prepare doses for shipment, load, unload, and verify orders using a handheld tablet on an assigned route.

The role requires standing, driving in all weather, and occasional on-call shifts. The position offers a 40-hour schedule with weekend shifts and benefits starting on day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Delivery driving experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• May require vendor credentialing.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night.
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• On-call/holidays as part of rotation.
• Ability to use computers/tablets.
• Pay rate: $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceuticals for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers.
• Use handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information, and navigation.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles in proper working condition and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule will include weekends: Saturday and Sunday 4:30am-12:30pm and working 3 days during the week Monday-Friday with start-time varying between 3am-9am. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs. This position is benefit eligible the first day of employment. Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• May require vendor credentialing
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Pay rate: $17.50 per hour
