Job summary

Cardinal Health in Des Moines, IA is seeking a part-time Delivery Associate to support radiopharmaceutical deliveries and package preparation for shipment. You will use a handheld tablet to verify orders and navigate routes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and flexibility to work early shifts and overtime as needed. Training is provided, with safety and reliability emphasized in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift: 25 hours per week Monday-Friday 5:00am-10:00am

Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
• Ability to use computers and tablets
