Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh is seeking a Delivery Driver to deliver prescription orders on a scheduled route using a company vehicle. You will ensure medication needs are met, maintain patient confidentiality, and support timely, accurate deliveries to facilities and homes.

The role requires a valid PA driver’s license, willingness to work nights and weekends, and adherence to HIPAA and other regulations. Competitive hourly pay and benefits begin after training.

About the Role

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company‑provided vehicle. Delivery Drivers take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients while demonstrating ethical conduct and maintaining patient confidentiality. Successful drivers will utilize a customer service mindset to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and/or supplies into long‑term care facilities or patients’ homes.
• Load products and materials.
• Maintain the vehicle and alert management of maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
• Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards.
• Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient confidentiality.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate with additional shift differentials: $0.50 per hour from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm and $1.00 per hour after 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Night/overnight shifts may start between 8:00 pm and 12:00 am. Pay range: $16.00 – $26.21 per hour. Anticipated weekly hours: 29. Time type: Part‑time.
