Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver in the United States (Texas). You will deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, using company-provided vehicles, while upholding safety and service standards. The role emphasizes helping customers, maintaining accurate deliveries, and following PPE and fleet safety policies.

Prior automotive knowledge and a valid license are required; no CDL is needed. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum Age: 18 years old.
Valid Driver’s License and safety compliance.
Automotive knowledge: basic.
Physical ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW by engaging commercial customers and DIY shoppers with clear automotive advice.
Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts for smooth teamwork and strong relationships.
Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals.
Delivery Operations – Drive company vehicles and ensure safe, timely deliveries; load/unload per route.
Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely.
Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and keep delivery vehicles in good repair.
