Summary

Accurately fills the customer's needs by delivering auto parts and tires in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Provides superior customer service on a daily basis that exceeds normal customer expectations, while staying within company policy and procedure guidelines.
2. Pulls tires according to customer orders.
3. Loads orders into delivery vehicles.
4. Checks deliveries for accuracy, and routes them effectively.
5. Completes and returns forms and handles invoices, transfers, and all other paperwork correctly.
6. Unloads deliveries, pulls orders, and performs other warehouse duties if no deliveries are pending.
7. Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations at all times.
8. Relays pertinent information to the manager in a timely manner.
9. Answers all customer questions in a polite and courteous manner, or refers them to the manager if more information is necessary.
10. Delivers customer orders promptly, in an effective businesslike manner.
11. Makes only assigned deliveries and calls the manager from the customer's location as required.
12. Leaves customer location promptly after delivery.
13. Follows vehicle safety procedures at all times.
14. Initials all cash invoices legibly and reads and follows correct cash handling procedures.
15. Completes return forms properly and in a timely manner.
16. Verifies and completes invoices correctly, records all pertinent information, and completes transfers.
17. Performs weekly vehicle checks and routine vehicle maintenance as needed.
18. Informs the manager if non-routine repairs or maintenance are needed.
19. Performs vehicle cleanup daily.
20. Pulls correct tires, stocks tires properly, and assists in loading/unloading vehicles.
21. Performs facility maintenance including housekeeping and other responsibilities.
22. Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
23. Follows oral and written instructions accurately and efficiently.
24. Works well with others under a time deadline, performing quality work with attention to detail.
25. Follows company policies, procedures, and attendance guidelines.
26. Seeks training opportunities both internally and externally.
27. Reports to work on time and as scheduled.

Qualifications

1. Two years driving experience/license preferred.
2. Ability to read simple words and numbers, print and speak basic sentences.
3. Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret graphs.
4. Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
5. Physical ability to work seated for driving, handle, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, 100 pounds frequently, and more than 100 pounds occasionally.
6. Visual capabilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
7. Must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of employment.
