Job Summary

Accurately fills the customer's needs by delivering auto parts and tires in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service exceeding expectations while adhering to company policies.
• Pulls tires according to customer orders and loads them into delivery vehicles.
• Checks deliveries for accuracy and routes them effectively.
• Completes forms, handles invoices, transfers, and paperwork correctly.
• Unloads deliveries, pulls orders, and performs warehouse duties if no deliveries are pending.
• Follows all safety regulations and relays information to management.
• Answers customer questions courteously or refers to the manager.
• Delivers orders promptly and makes only assigned deliveries.
• Leaves customer location promptly after delivery and follows vehicle safety procedures.
• Initials cash invoices legibly and follows cash handling procedures.
• Verifies and completes invoices accurately, records pertinent information, and completes transfers.
• Performs weekly vehicle checks and routine maintenance, reports non-routine repairs.
• Pulls correct tires, stocks them properly, and assists with loading/unloading.
• Performs facility maintenance and demonstrates professionalism with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Follows instructions accurately, works well under deadlines, and seeks training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years driving experience/license preferred.
• Ability to read simple words, recognize differences between words and numbers, and communicate in simple sentences.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpreting graphs.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and handle problems with concrete variables.
• Physical ability to work seated while driving, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds frequently, with vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Exposed to outside weather, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels. Accommodations are available for disabilities.
