Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from Store #705963 at 15 Hampton House Road, Newton, NJ 07860 to customers. You will ensure orders are loaded correctly, delivered safely, and customer satisfaction is maintained.

Responsibilities include loading, following routes and schedules, complying with DOT/MEC requirements, and performing store duties as needed. Requires lifting up to 70 lbs and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Drivers License.
• Must have a valid MEC (DOT) certificate or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with customers and understand reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products from stores to customers using box and flat-bed trucks.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck and oversee safe transport.
• Complete required forms and maintain delivery documentation.
• Deliver items in a safe, timely manner and provide good customer service.
• Maintain store vehicle and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Adhere to routes and schedules; follow transportation laws and drive safely.
• Prepare delivery-related reports and operate delivery equipment.
