Job summary

Staples is seeking a Delivery Driver in Sacramento, CA to transport and deliver office supplies on an assigned route. You will load your truck when needed and uphold safety practices as a top priority, acting as the Staples brand on wheels.

Responsibilities include efficient route planning, assisting customers, and processing returns while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing pre-trip inspections. A valid license, DOT screen, and 6-month medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC).
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card for the role.
• Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, push/pull up to 400 lbs with equipment, occasionally up to 130 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver office supplies on assigned route, loading the truck as needed.
• Prioritize safety and uphold our safety culture in daily tasks.
• Organize and load products using manifests to ensure efficient routes.
• Provide customer support and handle returns, representing Staples on the road.
• Be Staples’ brand on wheels and contribute to customer satisfaction.
