Job description

Boulevard Tire Center is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver in our West Palm Beach, FL location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled workdays.
  2. Transport products to and from locations using a company vehicle.
  3. Meet delivery schedules and stops as assigned.
  4. Load and unload tires, whether mounted or loose, to customers and/or our locations in Florida.
  5. Ensure the safety of every load during loading, transit, and unloading.
  6. Maintain the quality of tires during loading, transport, and unloading.
  7. Keep accurate driver logs.
  8. Maintain the appearance of trucks and trailers.
  9. Report truck maintenance needs to the manager.
  10. Assist the team with various duties as assigned by the manager when not driving.
  11. Comply with company safety policies.
  12. Keep precise records of deliveries, ensuring the product matches invoices or work orders, with signatures.

OTHER DUTIES

  1. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager with flexibility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Knowledge of DOT regulations required.
  3. Current Class B Commercial Driver's License with knowledge of air brakes.
  4. Clean driving record.
  5. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening, social security verification, MVR check, criminal background check, and references.
  2. Valid Florida driver's license.
  3. Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  4. Physical and mental capability to perform essential functions safely.
