Although Hajoca is a large company, each location, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run as a small business by the Profit Center Manager. A typical Profit Center includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom, operating under trade names that reflect local markets.

The Plumbing Warehouse is seeking a Delivery Driver & Warehouse Teammate at our Houma, LA location.

This role offers competitive pay, with potential for annual profit-sharing.

About the Delivery Driver Role:

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company policies and laws.
• Deliver to job sites, customer facilities, vendors, other Hajoca locations, and other destinations as directed.
• Load merchandise, secure the load, and ensure proper unloading equipment.
• Understand and review shipping documents and directions.
• Verify order accuracy, unload merchandise, and obtain signatures.
• Handle payments for cash sales prior to delivery release.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies with customers.
• Load merchandise from other locations, including vendor pickups and returns.
• Note prospective customer information during deliveries.
• Inspect the truck and report mechanical issues.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and secure keys after use.
• Complete safety and compliance training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Warehouse Teammate Role:

• Receive, verify, and count incoming shipments and returns.
• Stock, pick, pack, and document customer orders.
• Maintain high attention to detail for customer satisfaction.
• Handle discrepancies, damaged, or non-stock materials appropriately.
• Complete shipping documentation for deliveries.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Report stock issues and maintain warehouse security and cleanliness.
• Assist co-workers and perform safety-compliant duties.

About You:

• Must be able to drive vehicles over 10,000 lbs with a valid license.
• Be at least 21 years old, pass a DOT physical, and have a suitable driving record.
• Understand laws and safety regulations for driving and warehouse operations.
• Build positive relationships and remain calm under stress.
• Learn to operate warehouse equipment and computer systems.
• Read, write, speak English, and perform basic math.
