Pilot Lumber & Hardware, a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking candidates for our Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) position at our Bellevue, KY location.

What Does a Delivery Driver Do?

• Deliver goods and materials to designated locations
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and uphold company values
• Manage time and schedules efficiently for on-time deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
• Ensure a clean driving record and practice safe driving habits
• Travel locally as required for deliveries and pick-ups
• Utilize previous building material experience if available
• Lift and carry items 25-50 lbs consistently
• Load, check, and unload deliveries
• Be flexible to work overtime when needed
• Work effectively in an outdoor environment, adapting to varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Additional duties as assigned

What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Delivery Driver?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction or building material experience is preferred, but not required
• 1+ year of forklift experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel locally
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and handle large odd-shaped items
• Must be able to work outside in varying temperatures and weather
• Ability to work weekends
• Results-oriented with a service mindset aligned with Nation’s Best values
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service
