• Local area route - home daily
• Truck type: GMC Savana 3500 and 18' box truck

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Verifiable driving experience in similar equipment (straight truck or box truck): 6 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required
