Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Portland, ME seeks an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. You will deliver products to customers, branches, and suppliers in a van/box truck (no CDL required) while ensuring accurate orders and compliant documentation.

You will inspect the vehicle, maintain safety standards, and support warehousing tasks as needed. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading, verifying quantities, and signing delivery receipts.

Qualifications

• In lieu of experience, must attend driver training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment and MVR checks.
• Must obtain medical certificate as required by law within 60 days.
• Must not have had suspended license for 3 years; no at-fault accidents in 3 years.
• Must operate within safety regulations and transportation laws.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers, branches, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required).
• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection reports; keep vehicle clean and serviced.
• Follow DOT and state driving laws and regulations; load/unload and verify quantities and materials.
• Prepare orders for delivery and ensure proper documentation and signatures.
• Support in receiving, stocking, and shipping material as needed; mentor entry drivers as applicable.
• Travel to offsite locations and maintain safe driving routes and schedules.
