Job summary

Arnold Oil Company of Austin is seeking a Driver – Non CDL to support deliveries and returns using a company vehicle. You will load and unload cargo, transport products, and uphold positive customer relations while representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting malfunctions, handling cash when needed, and maintaining a safe, clean warehouse. A valid Texas driver’s license and forklift certification are preferred; a GED or high

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks manually or with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Deliver products to customers and pick up returns as needed.
• Represent the company positively and maintain good customer relations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Handle cash transactions and make change when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and comply with OSHA rules.
• Back warehouse duties as needed and support team priorities.

Job description

This position reports to the Manager – Warehouse. Driver – Non CDL is responsible for delivery of product to customer and/or picking up returns from customers, using a Company provided vehicle. Responsibilities also lie in loading and unloading trucks daily for delivery. This position may also be responsible for warehouse duty, along with representing the company in a positive manner, and keeping good customer relations.The primary job functions include, but are not limited to:Loads and unloads trucks both manually and using forklifts, pallet jacks or hand trucksTransport products (cased goods, drums, pails, bulk, etc.) to customerRepresent the company in a positive way, showing good customer relation skillsPerform pre trip, and post trip inspections which includes checking gasoline, oil, water, and tires and fills as required. Record any malfunctions of equipment on the Inspection Sheet which is reviewed by the supervisor and Safety ManagerPossess the ability to handle money from customers and be able to make change if necessaryMaintain a satisfactory attendance recordMaintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, work stations and shipping supply areas neat in the warehouse.
