Job description

We are looking for a Delivery Driver - 26ft Box Truck to join our growing team.

Since 1973, we have maintained our position as a leader in the wholesale distribution industry and offer first-class service to customers in the residential and commercial plumbing industries and home builders, interior designers, remodelers, and homeowners. We operate eight branch locations and seven showrooms throughout Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

Function: Responsible for the prompt and safe delivery of material to external customers in assigned locations

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verifying all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries
• Properly load and unload material from the truck
• Places material in an area designated by the customer following safety rules;
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections according to CSA2010 regulations
• Operating a vehicle with a combined vehicle weight of 10,001 - 26,000 lbs
• Wrap and tie-down material to ensure safe delivery; keep the product dry during inclement weather.
• Driving in various conditions, including urban and construction settings
• Follows all safety precautions to, during, and from deliveries; following all OSHA rules on job sites;
• Maintain all DOT qualifications, including keeping DOT card up to date

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• DOT Medical Card required
• 1-3 years of industry experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Keyboard experience preferred
• Problem-solving skills preferred
• Must be able to sit/stand for 8-10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
