Job Overview

The Delivery Driver drives a truck/van over established routes to transport and deliver products and collect signed invoices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive truck/van to deliver items to customers' businesses.
  • Record sales or deliveries on daily logs.
  • Obtain and submit receipts, including gas receipts.
  • Inform customers of new products or services.
  • Resolve service complaints.
  • Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected merchandise.
  • Load truck/van.
  • Secure customer signatures on receipts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
  • Follow company driving protocols and perform daily vehicle inspections.
  • Overnight stays may be required in some markets.
  • Provide high-quality customer service, adhering to company policies and acting as a role model.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, maintaining a positive attitude and effective communication.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT physical.
  • Satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to use a computer or tablet.
Work Environment and Travel
  • Work in shipping environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Travel up to 95%, overnight stays may be required.
