POSITION SUMMARY

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm or until all deliveries are completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs, and may require overtime.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
2. Complete and maintain accurate records including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other required documentation.
3. Make timely deliveries at customer locations in a safe and punctual manner, regardless of weather conditions.
4. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle daily.
5. Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment for tires.
6. Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or tires.
7. Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks when needed.
8. Work approximately 8-12 hours per day.
9. Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
10. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
11. Collect payments from customers upon delivery.
12. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors, with accommodations as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: Must be capable of visual, auditory, physical, and mental tasks to operate equipment safely, with or without accommodations. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Use team lifts or mechanical aids for tires.
Protective equipment required: Steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL. All provided except for boots. Adhere to safety guidelines.

Work environment: Exposure to weather conditions; moderate noise levels; fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Follow safe operating procedures.
• At least 1 year of work experience; driving experience preferred.
• Willing to be trained in using forklifts and high reach lifts.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Pass pre-employment drug test (excluding THC/marijuana).
• Obtain DOT Medical Card or ability to do so during hiring.
