Job summary

United Central Industrial Supply is seeking a field-oriented sales professional to visit customer sites daily, identify needs, take orders, and promote product offerings. You will build strong relationships with mine-level staff and coordinate with inventory teams to ensure timely fulfillment and VMI at key locations.

As part of a SunSource company, responsibilities include maintaining Min-Max stock levels, collaborating with Inventory Control on stock and obsolescence, and supporting the sales

Responsibilities

• Call upon and visit customer sites on a daily basis to ascertain customer needs, take orders, promote current and new product offerings and foster good relationships with mine-level personnel
• Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) at specific customer job sites. Ascertain inventory levels and keep stocked at prescribed Min-Max levels.
• Work with Inventory Control regarding stock levels, obsolete inventory, etc
