Position Description: The primary focus is the delivery of products to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and professional interaction. The Delivery Driver (non-CDL) is responsible for providing timely transportation of products from origin to destination as assigned, along with unloading and staging products at the customer’s place of business. Expected to maintain professional representation of the company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving, while providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

• Timely transportation of products from origin to destination as assigned.
• Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming products for accuracy in size, amount, and type.
• Collect payments from customers in acceptable monetary forms.
• Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders is available for inspection and accompanies deliveries.
• Maintain professional representation of the company in all customer interactions and through responsible driving.
• Maintain records for compliance with regulations, including driver’s logs, fuel purchases, mileage, and other required documentation.
• Abide by all safety policies and transportation regulations.
• Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Experience and Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Class “C” driver’s license or appropriate DOT license based on vehicle weight.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience sufficient to work under general supervision.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Occasional standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to weather conditions; moderate noise level.
• Travel up to 75% of the time, no overnight stays (overnight stays for CDL drivers).
