The Delivery Driver transports and delivers customer orders to retail locations by following an established schedule.

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Transportation Manager

Pay: Starts between $15 - $16 per hour

Essential Functions:

1. Operate a delivery truck following an established schedule and safety standards.
2. Manage customers' orders and materials, ensuring accuracy by delivering, unloading, and scanning products at each stop; receive payments as necessary.
3. Record mileage, loads, and other important information.
4. Report vehicle condition problems or concerns.
5. Clean and wash the truck as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of safe driving habits, laws, and regulations.
2. Basic arithmetic skills.
3. Effective communication skills in writing and speaking.
4. Ability to provide quality customer service.
5. Safe and efficient driving skills.
6. Basic clerical skills such as record keeping.
7. Ability to read and understand reports and bulletins.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver's license with no restrictions other than corrective lenses; a clear driving record with no more than two points.
2. Must be over 21 years old.
3. Cannot be a registered sex offender.

Equipment Used: Telephone, hand-held scanner, delivery vehicle.

Working Conditions: Drive in an enclosed truck; work outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures.

• Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
