Delivery Driver- Non CDL (Finance)

About the Role:
You will:
- Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules, applicable laws, and regulations. Destinations include job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, other Hajoca locations, facilities of other wholesalers, or other locations as directed by management.
- Load the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise to be delivered. Secure the load properly to prevent shifting, damage, or falling. Ensure the necessary equipment for safe unloading is available.
- Understand shipping documents associated with each delivery and have accurate directions to each destination.
- Review shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Unload correct merchandise at the delivery site and place it as requested by the receiving party. Obtain a legible signature for all delivered merchandise per company policy.
- Collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sales prior to releasing merchandise.
- Work with customers to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Load merchandise at other locations, including vendor pickups, customer returns, and other wholesalers.
- Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses encountered during deliveries.
- Inspect the truck and required parts for safe operation before departure. Keep the truck clean of debris.
- Report any mechanical issues to management. Complete the Driver's Daily Vehicle Inspection Report when required.
- At the end of the day, remove keys from the truck and store them in the approved location.
- Complete required safety and compliance training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.
About You:
- You must be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. As a non-CDL driver, you should:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Have a driving record that meets company criteria for authorized drivers
- Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before starting and every two years thereafter

- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Perform basic math operations
