DIVISION: U.S. AutoForce

Position Summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., has over 100 years of experience in distributing tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30am until all deliveries are completed. Schedules may change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities

1. Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles on routes with 10-20 deliveries/day.
2. Complete and maintain accurate records, including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs.
3. Make timely deliveries at customer locations in a safe manner under all weather conditions.
4. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
5. Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment for tires.
6. Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks when needed.
7. Work approximately 8-12 hours/day.
8. Operate a handheld device to fulfill deliveries.
9. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
10. Collect payments from customers upon delivery.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, exert pushing force of 40 pounds, and work in various weather conditions. Protective equipment is provided, and safety guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• 1 year of professional driving experience with a satisfactory record.
• Valid driver's license, ability to pass a road test, and obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to follow instructions and provide quality customer service.
• Ability to work overtime and pass a drug test.
