Republic National Distributing Company is looking for energetic Delivery Drivers in Louisville, KY. You will deliver products to grocery stores, liquor stores, hotels, bars, restaurants and other venues, ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining high customer service standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years of delivery experience, a valid state driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds (100 pounds occasionally), and DOT medical certification as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, two years delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Requires a current State driver’s license; ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Must be able to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department
• ABC License, as required by the state

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by bottle, case, or pallet to customer accounts by hand truck.
• Safely operate vehicle and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Make an average of 20 timely deliveries per day; may deliver to more accounts during high volume seasons.
• Verify receipt of correct order with customer and obtain signature and payment if necessary.
• Maintain truck security and provide feedback on routes to management.
• Abide by DOT hours of service rules and use HOS/POD software as applicable.

Summary

RNDC is looking for energetic Delivery Drivers that possess a valid State driver's license. As a member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the products we sell are delivered on time, and orders are filled accurately. We ensure that you have the training and support you need to make a meaningful difference. Drivers are responsible for making deliveries and providing best in class customer service to an established set of customers including grocery store, liquor stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, convenience store and other venues.

In this role, you will

• Accurately delivers all products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer's account by hand truck.
• Safely operate commercial vehicle and properly conduct a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects.
• Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day. May deliver to more accounts during high volume seasons.
• Verify receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product against invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received.
• Ensure physical security of truck at all times.
• Provide regular feedback to management in terms of route changes, concerns or areas of opportunity.
• Abide by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.
• May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software, point of delivery (POD) invoicing and/or driver monitoring programs.?

What you bring to RNDC

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, two years delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

• Requires a current State driver's license; ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Must be able to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department
• Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state

This posting provides a good faith compensation estimate for the position. The salary range typically begins at 41,400.00 and may extend to 51,800.00, depending on an applicant's qualifications, skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. This role may also include monthly earned commissions, where applicable.

This compensation range applies specifically to positions located in Ohio and may differ for similar roles in other locations.
