Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is hiring energetic Delivery Drivers to ensure timely deliveries to a diverse set of customers. You will handle delivery by hand truck, conduct vehicle inspections, and maintain safety on every route.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of delivery experience, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Benefits include 401(k), medical/dental/vision, PTO up to 5 weeks, parental and caregiver leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; two years delivery experience and/or training.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Requires a current State driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements.
• Must obtain DOT medical certification and file with state DMV.
• ABC License as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by bottle, case, or pallet from truck to customer accounts by hand truck.
• Safely operate the delivery vehicle and complete pre/post trip inspections; note defects.
• Make an average of 20 timely deliveries per day; may increase during high volume seasons.
• Verify receipt with customer; obtain signature and payment if needed.
• Ensure consistent physical security of the truck at all times.
• Provide feedback to management on route changes, concerns, or opportunities.
• Follow DOT hours of service rules and regulations for license type.
• May use smartphone apps for HOS, POD invoicing, or driver monitoring.

RNDC is looking for energetic Delivery Drivers that possess a valid State driver’s license. As a member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the products we sell are delivered on time, and orders are filled accurately. We ensure that you have the training and support you need to make a meaningful difference. Drivers are responsible for making deliveries and providing best in class customer service to an established set of customers including grocery store, liquor stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, convenience store and other venues.

In this role, you will

• Accurately delivers all products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer’s account by hand truck.
• Safely operate commercial vehicle and properly conduct a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects.
• Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day. May deliver to more accounts during high volume seasons.
• Verify receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product against invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received.
• Ensure physical security of truck at all times.
• Provide regular feedback to management in terms of route changes, concerns or areas of opportunity.
• Abide by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.
• May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software, point of delivery (POD) invoicing and/or driver monitoring programs.?

What you bring to RNDC

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, two years delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

• Requires a current State driver's license; ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Must be able to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department
• Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state

This posting provides a good faith compensation estimate for the position. The salary range typically begins at 41,400.00 and may extend to 51,800.00, depending on an applicant’s qualifications, skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. This role may also include monthly earned commissions, where applicable.

This compensation range applies specifically to positions located in Ohio and may differ for similar roles in other locations.
