Delivery Driver - Non CDL (Finance)

About the Role:
You will:
- Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules, applicable laws, and regulations. Destinations include job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, other Hajoca locations, facilities of other wholesalers, or other locations as directed by management.
- Load the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise to be delivered. Secure the load properly to prevent shifting, damage, or falling. Ensure the necessary equipment for safe unloading is available.
- Understand shipping documents associated with each delivery and have accurate directions to each destination.
- Review shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Unload merchandise at delivery sites, placing it as requested, and obtain signatures per company policy.
- Collect and secure payments for cash sale deliveries before releasing merchandise.
- Work with customers to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Load merchandise from other locations, including vendor pickups, returns, and purchases from other wholesalers.
- Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer information discovered during deliveries.
- Inspect the truck and required parts for safe operation before departure. Keep the truck clean.
- Report mechanical issues to management. Complete daily vehicle inspection reports when required.
- Secure keys after work and store in the approved location.
- Complete required safety and compliance training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
About You:
- You must be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. As a non-CDL driver, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Have a driving record meeting company criteria for authorized drivers
- Pass a Department of Transportation physical exam before starting and every two years thereafter

- Learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment and delivery-related computer systems.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Perform basic math operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
