Job summary

Smith Turf & Irrigation LLC is seeking a dependable delivery driver to safely operate STI vehicles and deliver products to customers. You will handle timely orders to job sites and customer facilities, load and unload items, and support warehouse operations to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of non-commercial driving, the ability to follow written instructions, and a customer‑service mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of non-commercial driving experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experience.
• Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards- background, MVR, drug testing for insurance standards.
• Capable of routinely lifting or moving inventory weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision.
• Endure timely delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from customer facility or job site.
• Load and unload products and equipment for delivery.
• Assist with warehouse duties- pulling orders, stocking inventory, maintaining the yard.
• Establish a solid understanding of products and equipment sold at STI.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management.
• Work with outside sales and internal team to enhance customer satisfaction and to facilitate a team atmosphere.

Position Overview:

Delivery drivers are responsible for safely operating STI vehicles while delivering products and equipment to customers. They are fueled by dedication and play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations.
