The Delivery Driver position at North Coast involves loading, unloading, and delivering products from our warehouse for local delivery. The role requires operating a box van (non-CDL) and assisting with production floor tasks such as sorting and packing products for delivery.

This position demands dependability, delivery driving experience, physical strength, stamina, and a clean driving record. Delivery Drivers must be organized, efficient, professional, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

This role reports to the General Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver products to scheduled locations along designated routes
• Ensure timely delivery of products
• Load and organize inventory from the warehouse into the vehicle and unload as needed
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Confirm deliveries via scan or written confirmation upon arrival
• Collect signatures at delivery points

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a delivery driver
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Experience in food manufacturing, seafood, or meat processing is a plus
• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus
• Valid and clean driver's license
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Proficiency in driving and parking large vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to promote a safe, high-performance work environment
• Foster teamwork and open communication

Additional Requirements

• Lift 30-50 pounds
• Work up to 10 hours per day, mostly standing/walking
• Use hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
• Work in temperatures below 32°F
• Work in wet and dry conditions
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, with weekends when needed
• Use tools and equipment, including knives
