Job summary

AutoZone seeks a Delivery Driver in California to operate company‑provided vehicles and deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers. Emphasis on safe driving, on‑time deliveries, and accurate loading.

You will support store operations, engage with customers, and maintain the delivery fleet while adhering to safety standards. Minimum age 18, valid driver’s license, basic automotive knowledge, and ability to lift merchandise are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing automotive advice and installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts for smooth teamwork and strong relations.
• Maintain delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals while following policies.
• Drive company vehicles and deliver parts to commercial customers, loading/unloading per route.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or external vendors.
• Adhere to PPE and fleet safety policies.
• Process payments securely following company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and products and maintain delivery vehicles.
