Job summary

J & M Package and Delivery Service Inc is seeking reliable Delivery Drivers to join our Barrington, New Jersey team. You will deliver packages safely and on time, providing outstanding customer service and following company policies.

This role offers daily delivery duties with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. No CDL license is required, and drivers will operate company-provided vehicles, plan routes, and maintain accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to clear pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Prior courier experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations.
• Load and unload packages and verify package accuracy for each delivery.
• Plan and follow the most efficient route to ensure timely deliveries while following traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating during deliveries.
• Communicate delays or issues to dispatch promptly and coordinate with the team to adjust schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
• Represent the organization professionally at all times.
