Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Branch Driver to join the Platt team in Portland, OR. The role delivers products to customers and branch locations in a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining the vehicle, loading/unloading, and completing delivery paperwork. Training and mentorship will be provided for entry-level drivers, with additional branch tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment and MVR review.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• No suspended license or at-fault accidents in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws.
• Load/unload material; verify items for each order.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation (receipts, packing lists).
• Pickup material returns and inspect condition and quantities.
• Pickup material from suppliers.
• Mentor entry-level drivers.
• May perform other branch duties (sales, stocking, shipping).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
