Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver in Chandler, AZ. You’ll use company vehicles to deliver parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, provide expert automotive advice, and help keep store operations efficient.

This role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and strong customer service. A valid driver's license, basic automotive knowledge, and a flexible full-time schedule (including mornings, nights, weekends) are required; Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Able to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Full-time schedule availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with customers, giving automotive advice, and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and follow company policies to meet time and accuracy goals.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and ensure safe, timely deliveries to commercial customers; load/unload per route schedules.
• Handle returns, cores, and parts pickups from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving environment.
• Process customer payments securely in line with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues.
